Why Staie exists

I was quoted £2,040 + VAT for my own website.

The other option on the table was to have it "free" — as long as I signed a twelve-month contract at £770 + VAT a month for SEO. That's £9,240 a year, for a website I'd never own.

I said no, learned to build them properly myself, and started Staie.

We use modern AI tooling to do the parts of a website build that used to eat days — first drafts of layouts, boilerplate code, image optimisation, the structured data search engines read. That's why a site that would once have taken two weeks takes us a few days.

Every single page is then reviewed line by line by a person before it goes anywhere near your domain. We check the copy is true, the links work, the site loads fast on a phone, and that it actually says what your business does. Nothing is published that a human hasn't read.

How much does a website cost?

Plans start at £25/month for Foundation (1–3 pages), £39/month for Coverage (4–12 pages), £59/month for Grow (13–25 pages) and £99/month for Scale (26–50 pages). Setup is free, and you see the finished site before you pay anything.

Is there an upfront cost?

No. Setup is free. We build the site first and you only start paying the monthly fee once you've seen it and you're happy with it.

How do I make changes to my site?

Just email us what you'd like changed and we make it happen. Every plan includes unlimited edits — there's no CMS to learn and no per-change fee.

How long does it take?

We build and deliver your website within 5 working days. That's from the point your questionnaire is completed and we have your content.

Do I own the website?

Yes — completely. On cancellation we hand over the full source code, all your content and every asset, in a format you can host anywhere. There is no exit fee, no notice period and no charge to release your domain.

Can I cancel?

Any time. There's no minimum term and no contract. Your site stays live until the end of the month you've paid for, and you can take the whole thing with you.
