If you're paying hundreds a month for a website — or you're tied into a contract you'd rather not be in — you don't have to start over to get out of it.
We'll copy your existing site across word for word, handle the transfer, and put it on our hosting. All of that costs you nothing. After that it's from £25 a month, with no setup fee and no contract.
We do the work first and you pay nothing until it's done and you're happy with it. There is no migration fee, no setup fee and no charge per page.
We rebuild your existing site on our system — every page, every photo, every word. However many pages you have. There's no charge for this, and no per-page fee.
We handle the domain, the DNS and the switch-over. Usually out of hours so your site never appears to go down and your customers never notice.
Your site moves onto the same fast hosting all our clients use. No setup fee, no migration fee, no "onboarding" charge.
We do all of the above first. You look at the finished result on a preview link, and only then decide whether to switch anything over. If you don't like it, you walk away owing nothing.
It genuinely doesn't matter to us which you pick, and it costs the same either way — so choose the one you'd actually prefer rather than the one you think is cheaper.
If you like your website
Some people are perfectly happy with their site — they just object to paying £300 a month for it. If that's you, we'll reproduce it exactly: same layout, same wording, same images, same structure. You keep the site you know, on a bill that makes sense.
If you've outgrown it
Plenty of people have been quietly unhappy with their website for years and never had a reason to fix it. If that's you, we take the key details — your services, your contact information, your photos, your reviews — and build you something new around them.
Nothing on your domain changes until you've seen the finished copy and told us you're happy. Your existing website keeps running exactly as it is while we work, and you keep paying your current provider until you're ready to give notice — not a day before.
When you say go, we map every existing page to its replacement so old links and search results keep working, then switch the domain over — usually out of hours so nobody notices. Your email is untouched unless you specifically ask us to move it.
We build and deliver your website within 5 working days. And once it's done, the site is yours: full source code on request, no exit fee, no notice period. The thing you're escaping from is the thing we've written into our own terms so it can't happen here.
Worth twenty minutes whether or not you ever speak to us — and if any of it is confusing, send us what your contract says and we'll tell you what it means.
Search your agreement for "term", "renewal" and "notice". Many contracts in this market auto-renew for another 12 months unless you give notice inside a specific window — often 30 to 90 days before the anniversary. Diarise that date today, even if you're not ready to move.
Run your domain through any free WHOIS lookup. If the registrant is your provider rather than you or your business, that's the thing to sort out first. You are entitled to ask them to transfer it, and we'll walk you through how to ask.
If your email runs on the same domain, moving the website need not touch it — and it won't, because we'll check before we change anything. Ask your provider which DNS records handle your email so we know exactly what to leave alone.
“STAIE built our site in days and it looks fantastic. Any change we need, we just email and it's done.”
“Genuinely the easiest process. No jargon, no upfront cost, and the site does everything we needed.”
“Professional, fast and great value. Our new website has brought in real enquiries.”
Yes — word for word if that's what you want. Every page, every image, the same layout and the same wording. We don't charge for it, however many pages there are. Plenty of people are happy with their site and just want to stop overpaying for it, and that's a perfectly good reason to move.
Nothing. Copying the site, doing the transfer, setting up the hosting — all free. You start paying the normal monthly plan only once it's live and you're happy with it, and there's no setup fee then either.
Then we start again. We take the key details — your services, contact information, photos, opening hours, reviews — and build you something new around them. It costs the same either way, so pick whichever you'd actually prefer.
Yes, and it's usually the best time to start. We'll have your new site copied across and ready while you see out the remaining months, so it can go live the day your notice period expires. You don't pay us anything in the meantime.
Not if it's done properly. The domain carries most of your ranking and that's staying the same. We map every old page to its replacement with proper redirects so nothing breaks. Ranking usually recovers within days, and often improves because the new site loads faster.
No. Your existing site stays live and untouched the entire time we're building the copy. We only change the domain over once you've seen it and said yes, and we normally do that out of hours.
Ask them in writing to transfer it to a registrar of your choice. They are generally obliged to release it — some charge an administrative fee to do so, which is legal but worth objecting to. Tell us and we'll help you word the request.
That depends what you're on. If you're paying £249 to £699 a month, a Staie plan at £25 to £59 is a different order of cost entirely. If you're paying £50 a month for something that works, you may well be fine where you are — we'd rather tell you that than sell you something you don't need.
No charge to move, no setup fee, and nothing to pay until it's live and you're happy. We build your site first. You only pay once you've seen it and you're happy.
